GO JAZZ! These are two of my favorite players! Unfortunately Nick obviously has the camera so these pic's will have to do until he gets home. I talked to him last night and he said the flight was amazing! It was full of lazy boys, you could use the internet, and there was a large buffet with prime rib... Sounds like they put first class to shame! He said the players pretty much stay to themselves but Ronnie Price came over to say high to Nick, they've become friends.  Once at the Ritz everyone settled in. Nick and Zane caught up with Phil and Sloan over a couple drinks before they went to dinner. How crazy is that? Can't you totally see Nick chatting up Sloan and all coaches probably picking their brains about the game plan.... So currently Nick is on a bus on his way to the Staples Center. He texted me because he said you can't talk on the bus. Anyway, watch the game and Cheer for the Jazz!  GO JAZZ!!!!!!!

So as I write this blog Nick is on his way to the Airport to board a chartered jet to Los Angeles. Yes, he is flying WITH the Utah Jazz to LA to get ready to play the L.A. Lakers tomorrow night.  He is staying at the Ritz Carlton and has an All Access pass to the game tomorrow.  So watch for him at the staples center . He will be sitting four rows behind the Jazz bench in seats that cost $3,000? Isn't that insane??? How did all of this happen you ask? Well Nick's good friend Zane Miller called him yesterday and was like, " Hey do you want to come with me to the game in L.A. and fly out with the team?"Of course Nick said, "Dude you don't even have to ask I'm there!" I think Zane loves to take Nick to all these games because Nick is such a Jazz fan and they always have a blast. Well I've got to run but stay tuned for more pic's of Nick and the Jazz and watch for him tomorrow. He will be the cute bald guy wearing a Millsap jersey cheering the Jazz on!!!

J'Anne and I looking fabulous in our Scrubs.
Here are two pictures of what a couple of our OR's look like. Pretty high tech and nice huh???? I hope none of you ever have to visit one, but just incase you are curious....

Work

This is my friend and Co-worker Monica.
This is the Night Crew I work with on a regular basis Almir, J'Anne, Mike, Matt and Me.

A rare photo of us hard at work. Well, not exactly this was the plastic's case that when all night and was a little boring.  But, this is kind of what an operating room looks can look like.

Work

One night at work we were in a really long plastic's case it started at 1100p.m. and wasn't finished by the time we left at 0730a.m. I happened to have my Mac with me with a special plastic cover so I cleaned it with some antibacterial wipes and took it into the OR for a min. Here are a few pic's I took of myself with my the camera built into my laptop. Anyway I though they were kind of fun. I will post some more pic's of the peeps I work with.

My Baby Girl!

This is MY baby girl!! She never leaves my side, literally she is always under foot. This is a picture of her chillin on the lawn watching me plant flowers. She has the funniest personality and is one of my best friends. This is really quite amazing for me. I have never been a real animal lover. Anytime I would be around someone else's dogs or animals I didn't want to pet them and I thought they were all stinky shedding and I just wasn't a fan. Then Leyla came to live with us. As you all know Mike O. bought and raised her from just a pup. He ended up having to move into an apartment that wouldn't allow animals so instead of selling her we decided she could come live with us. We had just bought our house and had a nice yard for her. When she first moved in I had all these rules like she is not allowed in the our bedroom, on the couch, and she gets to sleep in her kennel. Well needless to say she had other plans. She no longer sleeps in her kennel but loves the corner of the couch. She sleeps on her doggie bed until we go to bed and then she 's on the couch. She also loves to sleep under our bed when yes, we let her into our bedroom. She will crawl under the bed and shimmy up right under our heads to be as close to us as possible. To my husbands dismay when I come home from work and he's already up I make Leyla come and snuggle with me in bed. We take naps together all the time, and she is my buddy when Nick is out of town. Yes me, non animal lover, now lets my stinky hair dog sleep next to me in bed. No worries, I am constantly washing our bed linens but I can't resist her puppy face and kisses. We had a real scare the other day. She was acting really weird, totally not herself and she wouldn't eat any food or treats, and was walking really funny. So I turned into a paranoid mother. I actually got my stethoscope out and listened to her heart and bowel sounds....We made an appointment for her with the vet for the next day and just kept an eye on her through out the night. Fortunately the next day she was back to her cheery self. I think she just had an upset stomach. Anyway I know this is way more than you all wanted to know about my dog but there you have it. I have turned into an animal lover and yes no longer think those who treat their dogs like their kids are ridiculous because I am now the worst offender. Interesting how people can change!
