My poor little guy got neutered today. His little eyes are so droopy and now he's going to be a cone head for 10 days.
Zeus had something called Cryptorchid which means one of his testicles didn't drop down and out of his abdomen. Often times if the testicle isn't found it can become cancerous and cause problems in the future. So instead of just one little incision he got 2. The picture below is of the big abdominal incision they had to make. Yeouch! The Vet said they were lucky and found his lost testicle just in front of his bladder so it was easily removed.
I was a little surprised when I saw this suture job (sorry so blurry) because is was so jagged. They then told me that tomorrow he will be running and jumping like nothing has happened so they have to really suture the abdomen to keep him from popping a stitch.
Leyla can tell he doesn't feel good and is just laying by his side.

Your pup looks so sad in the pictures. We have had that flunky dog collar on more than one dog around this house. Hope he is better soon.
oh, the poor little man.... that incision makes me cringe. to bad about the conehead! Rosco destroyed so much stuff with that thing on. (How he did it the heavens above only knows!!) Give him loads of loves for me. XOXO

Chels that is so sad! Poor little guy! I can't believe how big he has gotten though! That's crazy! He's still as cute as ever though!

Poor Zeus. Buster had that same problem. Our little one-balled buddy! And those cones are the most annoying things EVER! Buster couldn't even climb the stairs with one on (probably the fact that his feet are two inches from the ground as it is).
