Back In The Day's of 89'

So my dad sent an email to me the other day titled The Beginning of Coolness with this picture enclosed. This is my little sister Shea, she is 5 years old and is wearing my dads aviator sunglasses and of course is posing for the camera. She is currently living in Hollywood, CA (how fitting) and yes, still wears the aviator glasses she dubbed back in 89'.

These next pictures followed in another e-mail a few days later.
Of Course I wanted to be cool too! So here are my pictures from the same day. I am 10 years old. Funny thing, I totally remember those shorts and they actually have dinosaurs on them and I loved them! Forget the glasses I think the shorts are hot!

If any of you were wondering where this photo shoot took place it is at the infamous Sherwood Hills Golf Course. This picture includes my old friend Angela Croft, Me, Shea, and then my other little sister Jade. Jade definitely takes the one piece to a whole other level!

Vegetable and Herb Garden!

What is this you say? Well, this is my lovely vegetable and herb garden! Isn't it amazing??? OK so it isn't really that great. I have been so busy this past month and well with all the rainy weather I haven't been able to plant my garden. This past weekend I was able to scrounge up some tomato, cucumber, squash, lettuce, basil, rosemary and zucchini plants. It was no easy feat either. I had to go to three different stores to find it all. Hopefully I can get them planted this weekend and find the last few herbs and veggies I want.  I was going to grow pumpkins again because it's so fun to watch them grow, but man they sure take up a lot of space ! Anyway enough about my garden! Happy Planting and I'm sure I'll have more Veggie Tales in the coming months.

My Grandma Ballif would be so proud!

So my flowers pots are off to a great start! Yes, I know, you all are probably sick of me posting about my flowers but you know I don't have any little ones of my own yet so you will hear a lot about my dog, my flowers and well Nick of course!  Anyway my Grandma Kay always has the most beautiful flower pots and beds. She taught me all her secrets for having beautiful flowers.

More Landscaping

This is the flower garden in front of my house. Last weekend I stuffed it full of flowers! I can't wait to see them explode! Hopefully the colors and my arrangements will look good. Usually I just pant a bunch of Zinnias or Dahlia's in all different colors but this year I stuck with yellow, purple, and blue so I guess we will see how it turns out.

Sheababee!

Shea was in town this weekend; she threw a baby shower for her good friend Jen Parry.  After the shower we all met Nick at the Country club.  Nate Parry invited Nick to play golf while we girls did the baby shower thing.  Here is a picture of Shea and Nick! They are so cute! We love you Shea! Wish you lived closer!
